SOCIAL CAMPAIGN #ChoiceNotBan for the Federation for Women and Family Planning
Social campaign
Year of production: 2021
DESCRIPTION
To mark this year's World Safe Abortion Day, the Federation for Women and Family Planning is presenting five short films based on real stories of women who have turned to us for help. We chose them from thousands of stories we have encountered over the past 28+ years of the „operation” of the so-called abortion compromise.
Maria Konarowska, Barbara Kurdej-Szatan, Maria Seweryn, Weronika Warchoł and Maciej Stuhr lent their faces and voices to women who dared not come forward. Some because of stigmatization, others because of the trauma they experienced were unable to revisit their tragic memories.

A magical comedy about the graceful Inge, an actress involved in dubbing and sound effects production, although she dreams of singing. When she is suddenly presented with a bouquet of flowers on the street and kissed by a handsome passerby, she is so shocked that she loses her voice for amen.
The film is about Inge regaining her voice , she travels through various therapies - psychoanalysis and choreotherapy. However, she realizes that the therapists she meets are usually more in need of therapy than she is. She discovers that only magic and finding the man by whom she lost her voice can disenchant her. Only how to find him? Meanwhile, Peter, a stranger, despite his playboy superficiality, suffers from chronic shyness, the gift of flowers was a one-time act of desperation suggested by his niece, if he liked a woman he should give her flowers and start a conversation.
Peter illustrates children's books and draws comics. He's working on a comic book about a Superheroine, but can't find the right drawings for her... until he meets Inge. She could become his inspiration. Just how to find her? What's more, the drawn adventures of the Superheroine come true in Inge's real life. Peter and Inge pass each other many times, go to the same pub, work for the same client. Only when they are really ready do they bump into each other again, repeating what they did at their first meeting. Inge regains her voice and falls in love with Peter with reciprocity.

„BREAKING THE SILENCE”
Document
Year of production: 2007
Time: 58 minutes
Brodacasted: 2008/2009 PLANETE TV; Films Media Group platform (USA, UK, Canada, Australia).
Ewa Pytka was nominated for WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2007 by Wysokie Obcasy magazine for this film.

DESCRIPTION
The documentary film „Breaking the Silence” presents women's stories written by life and told by themselves. Female protagonists from 6 countries of Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine) shared with the audience their life experiences in the sphere of reproductive and sexual rights.
The film talks about violations of women's rights in various Central and Eastern European countries and clearly shows the consequences: abortion, teenage pregnancy, the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Polish part of the film features speeches by, among others, women who have experienced the consequences of the restrictive anti-abortion law - Alicja Tysiąc and Barbara Wojnarowska, as well as other people involved in the fight for women's rights.
The documentary clearly shows that in some countries of Europe, basic human rights (here, mainly concerning women) are still regularly violated. The authors of the film hope that the documentary will help raise awareness in the societies of European countries about the dramas of women, the problems of enforcing their rights. Many of these dramas could easily be avoided if only politicians would properly fulfill their obligations to society.
